All three B & B bedrooms at Chilton House have their own individuality and are named after board games. Monopoly and Chess are high ceilinged Victorian rooms at the front of the house whilst Scrabble overlooks the garden at the back of the house.

Chess is the second bedroom at Chilton House B & B and is at the front of the house overlooking Park Street. There is a kingsize bed with Hypnos mattress and the room is decorated in soft monochrome  greys. We have chosen slightly unusual bed side lights – ideal for that game of chess and maybe just a little bit wacky! There is, of course, a chess set should you want to relax and challenge your partner!
The full en-suite features a large rainforest style shower (1200 x 900 mm), under floor heating and a steam free mirror with magnifying spot.
All the bedrooms at Chilton House have USB points next to the plug sockets, smart TVs, free WiFi and hospitality trays. In Chess there is a 32-inch flat screen smart TV. We also add some little extras to make your stay more enjoyable, so you can expect complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer.  There is a small fridge for fresh milk for hot drinks and room for wine or soft drinks. Chilton House is not licensed but there are shops within a few minutes walk.
